Roger D. Behymer is an independent financial advisor with LPL Financial. Roger specializes in financial planning for families, business owners, professionals and high net worth individuals. Utilizing his ability and experience to review their entire financial situation, Roger’s clients gain support and guidance in the areas of retirement planning, business succession, risk management, investment planning, and tax and estate planning. Roger received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. After moving to Texas, he successfully worked in the computer software industry for 10 years. Over the 10 year span in the computer industry, his roles covered many levels from software engineer to project manager, and finally to Director of Software. During this time, Roger became the manager of a Living Trust. While managing the trust, he gained valuable experience in the financial industry. His continued research in investments and markets eventually led him to leave the computer industry and transition into the financial services profession.
After joining Edward Jones in March 2006, he earned his Series 7—General Securities Representative license, Series 63—Uniform State Law license, and Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor license as well as Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses. While working at Edward Jones for 5 years, he served as a mentor to junior brokers and was on the recruiting team for new financial advisors. In 2011, he became an independent Registered Financial Advisor with LPL Financial and continues his professional development in the areas of annuities and retirement.
Roger combines personal attention with investment experience to help his clients pursue financial prosperity, ensuring his commitment of integrity and transparency to his clients. Roger is in direct contact with his clients, seeking to provide a level of personal service seldom seen in the traditional brokerage relationship.
In his commitment to serve his community, Roger is a member of the East Fork Masonic Lodge #650. He also attends many civic functions in the Allen/Wylie/Lucas area.
Family is the core of Roger’s life. He and his wife, Angela, have two young children. He enjoys gardening, cycling, and spending quality time with his family.
